I'm even worse- I dragged my kid around canvassing with me. Baaaaad mommy.
Really I came over to say thanks for posting on Anna's blog about Trina Schart Hyman. I was sad to hear about it; she wasn't that old. How did you hear?
Don't you love it? Jen, I got it at the local "hippy-dippy" kids store, as my friends so lovingly call it. I'll look up the brand name when later (it is on a plane now), if you want. I wanted to pick up more for gifts for various kiddies I know, but they were almost out of shirts. I suppose I should just call and ask if they'll be getting more.
elsewhere, you aren't a bad mother because Mermaid Girl is old enough to tell you No, I don't want to help encourage people to do their civic duty! Peanut is not, so I use her to my own ends :-) I noticed an AP story correction the day after Anna's post that was correcting TSH's obituary, so I looked it up on Google News. There was only one small story--she had cancer. And you are always welcome to come here and visit--I keep meaning to link to you but put it off because I hate hate hate HTML stuff.
A wife, a mother, and a proud liberal with a temper. Oh, and a Green Bay Packer fan, too. I live with toddler daughter with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita, her father Big Daddy, three (seven) cats and one dog.
